Izmir Center Workshop

Oh god, what a crowd! French, Lithuanian, İtalian, Greek and Turkish people in one place, like a joke you know :), We all have one aim! one reason! to spread the motto of sustainable development "KEEP GREEN!" We organized a street show and workshop in the most crowded street of Izmir "kıbrıs şehitleri caddesi" we dyed the %100 natural bags with Sonata's method and showed and delivered them to the local people of izmir in return of their plastic bags! The local Mayor of Konak city joined us and supported our project. He made a short speech even some journalists showed up to learn what we are doing and what is the reason to do that.

We used music, dance and our unresistable attractiveness to reach the people! :) also the bags that we delivered was a reason... It was easy to finish 4 hundred bags in one hour...

6th of June ; The First Day

The day began with a nice breakfast and shining sun. Energizers came right after the breakfast… We kept on with introduciton of the project and rules, fears and expactations of the participants. Our fears and expectations have opened our appetite for the lunch and for more energizes and group Dynamics in the afternoon.

 We made daily group dynamic game called ‘Life line’ and we learned the other participants  ‘secrets’ J We ate traditional Turkish snack called ‘pide’ and we are waiting for the new day to come and explore new things about ourselves and the others.

The project Coordinator Busra's delicious sangria and the seaside was a perfect scene for the welcoming night. The Agean sea with music, youth and candles. That day was also one of the partipant's (Ahmet the captain) b-day. The atmosphere was calm and perfect for the meeting. The names were began to be learned already.

5th of June; the Arrival Day

The Critical Mess 2 Project had taken start today at 4 pm with the arrival of all the teams from Greece, Lithuania, Italy, France and Turkiye. We have been listening a local music in the cafe near the station while waiting for the participants. We took the bus to the camping area whic is located in  Gümüldür. While we were on the bus Murat, Gulce, Gaia, Arianna  and Gizem were already enjoying the sun and the sea. Unfortunately Maud and Ines’s luggages had been lost by Lufthansa. But stil they joined the others to meet new people and loose the tiredness of the long trip from France.

Right after the ‘unofficial welcome party’ we began with a short name learning game which was directed by Ozge (ozy) and then we drank all the bears (six pack) :) and the wines (red-white) !!!
